First, I'm not posting this for a review, because it's in the very early stages (though all thoughts are welcome).

Now, go here and resize your browser window on the horizontal and watch the background images. Best part is: simple as heck to do.

NOTE: If it doesn't work, you're using IE <9. Upgrade.

Slideshows are notorious for not behaving well in responsive layouts.
but it resizes nicely and the slide effect works well. I like.

I love it Ronald! I've been wanting to use parrallex (I assume that's what you did? Didn't look) I just haven't found the time to play with it yet. Looks great.

I've been dying to have an excuse to use it. It's subtle, and most users won't notice it, but I like it.

When we break from clients over at Krymson I'm going to try to make a slideshow that uses it. I've seen a few around. They look really nice.

Looks good.

I believe a similar effect can be achieved in Foundation (CSS/ JS framework) by Zurb, and several other alternatives. Unless of course, you're more showcasing the fact that the sliders are able to resize without breaking - in which case, impressive.

I'm more trying to show off the parallax effect, but I like the sliders too. I just used Flexslider for the sliders. Add a little custom sizing CSS to Flexslider and it'll work pretty well for stuff like that.

Very cool!.. but on the downside how often do people purposely resize a browser by dragging unless asked to? I'd say not very regularly.
