Can someone shed some light on whether or not hyphens in a domain name have a negative impact on SERs? Ex: green-widgets-in-london
If the domain name greenwidgetsinlondon.com was already taken and I really wanted to use that name by hyphenation, would it be advisable? Thanks! |

I dont think they would make a difference one way or another.
I have registered hyphenated domains in the past, but nowadays I am more interested in building a brand, rather than just getting SEO traffic and to do that, you really need a non hyphenated domain. |

I don't think it's a good idea.
