hey!
Its my first post and we just made a website for news and rumors about the cubs. If you guys can give me feedback on its goods, bads, design, ideas that would be great!

Nice and clean but very very simple and looks like a template.

That being said it is probably all you need and actually working in your favour.

Only thing I would suggest at this point is a logo. Does this (team?) have a logo or mascot you can use? When people land on the page they need to be quickly reassured (at a glance) that they found what they are looking for.

As above - and can you change cursor from pointer to hand when it goes over form buttons.
Overall - simple layout which let's content do the talking.

Thanks! I'm looking into that now i was thinking of putting a chicago cubs banner image at the top, would that be to distracting?
edit: i just put in a logo banner how does it look

Maybe get rid of some of the space around it if you can.

Besides the fact that I hate the cubs, I'd say either get rid of the whit bg with the logo and title, or put the bg all the way across the screen. It seems kinda patched into the page, if that makes any sense.
