Hello everyone,
Please help me work out why my web page will not display in windows explorer 9 sometimes, i have created the web page in web easy professional and i build it or export it as html + css its displays in safari and on my ipad but i keep getting a 404 or 406 error in explorer 9, then it will randomly work?? is this normal or am i a complete idiot Would appreciate any help.... Thanks in advance |

I can guess but a link to the site would probably be more useful.
WEP is probably half the issue, IE the other half. Actually, prob 25/75 IE sucks!

Web page easy is no good then?
do you have suggestions for another web design app...although i have just spend days creating one in ewp....... |

Notepad++ is free and will do the trick.
But it “could“ just be ie, but without being able to see it we dont know. Does it have a doctype? Char encoding? Any odd conditionals that could stuff up ie? Strange permissions on your server? Is it stuck in your cache?

Yes it has a doctype, charset and no funky conditionals.
Additionally, i found this on microsofts page. It might shed some light on the matter http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...es-HTTP-errors Also, delete your cookies. Clear your cache. Run antivirus. It could be malware. Prob not tho...
