Comments wanted website worldcup climbing

I made a website for the worldcup climbing at Belgium.

The design has to be confirm the affiche, and I'm quit pleased with the result, but not for the 100%.

I would like some idees/comments on

Backcolor text (to dark or not)
Main menu on right top. The correct place or visual not good (people don't see it)
The website covers an event during two days. How can I make the startpage more attracting for people to keep exploring the website
.....

Other idees or comments would be very appriciated.
