Design critique

Hi, my team and I are constructing a new q/a site, and we wanted some input from a Web Design community on what was good and bad about our design. Some issues we've been worrying about are:

1. Too many colors
2. Looks disorganized
3. Usability

The colors dont bother me. I see you are using pastel colors for large areas, which is good.

To help the eye, you can alternate greys on the posts, so they don't look as one and that helps organize. It's a little trickier code, but not too crazy

I dont now why you thinking in colours. The site is almost grey...

I think if you add some more whitespace it would look fine.
