HTML email with discount code

Hello,

A client would like an email template designed with a discount code option that can be changed.

I can obviously design this but presumably I would have to host the images on a server and link to it?

It is not possible to attach the template to the email and have the email linking to that is it?

Or is there a free host that allows email templates to be used?

What is the best approach to designing an email template?

Mailchimp might be a solution for your problem.

If it is coupon code why can't you use text with href to the site?

yes that is correct, any server will do the trick. A subfolder on the clients domain would work fine for all your newsletter imagery.

cover your ass and design like its 1999 (that is inline styles, tables for layout, no divs no floats)
