Honest opinion of this web design?
We've contracted a company in India to redesign our company website, http://www.teuton.com. This is what they've come up with so far http://i55.tinypic.com/2vki4r9.jpg. Does the design of the site come out at you as being unique? Does it draw you in? Does it give appear to be a professional site?

To be honest I prefer your old site's design, except for the deep red background. Using php to only show the current news stories and archive the rest is a step in the right direction, but here are things I see with the new design.
* New font for the logo leans more towards family-friendly than professional *Unless it's Christmas, why would you put green and red in the same color scheme? *Your old navigation bar is very professional, the new one looks very temporary. How early is this in the design process? At this point I see lots of nice plug-ins, and decent use of white spacing, but I'm not very impressed by the rest of the design.

The new design appears more professional and practical than your old website. The new design's navigation is a plus compared to yours. Yours is a long long page, with the footer to be found after the users has done much scrolling. New design compacts your page.
As other mentioned before, they could be more creative with the colors. |
