Hello. I'm hoping someone can help with this frustrating problem.
I made an error in the meta data sections on my site. I had the <meta property="og:url" content=""/> tag incorrectly and put www.www.examplesite.com instead of www.examplesite.com Now I spotted the error and fixed it but for some reason it still refers to my original www.www.examplesite.com url when clicking like on facebook. This is really annoying me and the only thing I can think of is editing the titles of the pages themselves to start afresh without recoding. I hope somebody can help! Thanks |

Are you talking about the search engines recognising the changes? because that usually takes a while to update

I have a facebook like buttons on most of the pages on the site. When you click like it gives an error because it's trying to link to www.www.etc... even though I have changed the url to just one www.
It seems strange that it's linking to the wrong url still. This happens even when testing on xmapp on my local drive. |
