I have been using Golive version 6 for years. I recently got a new PC which is running Windows 7, and Golive does not work any longer. So, I guess it is time to start using that old version of Dreamweaver 8 that I purchased years ago and never starting using.
So, I thought about using Lynda.Com tutortial. Should I take the version 8 tutorial, or should I upgrade to Dreamweaver CS5 first and take that tutorial? Does anyone have any advice about Lynda.Com? The cost is about $200 to upgrade to CS5 I think. Although Craigs List has it for $60.00. That must be a scam, right? Any advice for this novice is greatly appreciated! |

I would say to go with CS5. Just as technologies that run the web change, so do the development tools.
