creating a flash photo slideshow

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good program for making a Flash slideshow with text (other than Adobe Flash)? I need an easy-to-use program that a client can update as needed.

I want to make a slideshow like the one on http://www.whitehouse.gov, where the photo is on one side, and the other side has text and links.

The problem with most programs is that I don't have enough freedom with the text.

I'm willing to pay for a program, what's good?

I would use jquery instead.
