creating a text email from a web page

Hi All,

I require to pick up a html and convert it to a text format that can be used in an email.

Does anyone know of a smooth way in stripping all the images, and required html out that will not be shown in the text email.

Im knew to php from after using asp and jsp so a softly softly response would be appreciated.

You can use this method, and instead of writing to a xml document you can store the text into a variable. once complete you can e-mail the variable.
