No one is saying FW is not a professional program, in fact, most people mentioned they use BOTH programs.

I for one, use PS and FW for sites. However, as V2 stated, PS has more capabilities whereas FW is more for web stuff.

Thanks

It seems, after a bit more researching, that more people use Fireworks than I thought. Perhaps they just use more Photoshop friendly methods in Fireworks, such as flattening objects into bitmaps, and using Photoshop Live Effects.

That kind of answers my other problem of not having the ability to sell PNG's on any marketplaces such as Envato (Themeforest). I realise that I'll have to be more Photoshop friendly when it comes to designing my websites in Fireworks

Your absolutely great, wish I can be as good as you with fireworks well I only have a little knowledge with fireworks for I was introduced in adobe photoshop first hope I could learn few tricks to fireworks
