Default which version of Photoshop should I get?

I am a web site designer who is looking into buying Photoshop and I want to know what one is the best value among web designers. I created a survey to collect answers:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YBCCFSH

It would really help me if you would take my survey.

Thank you for your time.

I like using the Portable version of Photoshop. I can put it in my flash drive and use it anytime without installing it. That's not even in the choices in your survey.

I recommend version 12 (CS5). This way you have all the latest features available.

4 and 5 are good for hyperthreading and also support graphic card acceleration

I was using CS3, and now went on CS5, also I am using portable version, because I often have to work on different computers.
All of them are great for you.

I would suggest that you use CS5, because it is the latest version, with all functions in it.

Yeah! Latest version would be best but the older one like cs3 or cs4 is enough for your business but its still up to you.

Content aware fills are f*cking amazing. I used to use PS for just cropping, optimizing, etc. but I can now tell clients "Yeah sure I can take that out for you" without using the damn clone/stamp tool. CS5 for the win!

I would recommend the latest, I'm using CS5 now and it has some good additional features in it. I love the new Dreamweaver also very easy to use!
