I am having a problem with my layout; in order to get everything to lay correctly I have absolutely positioned all elements on the page.
Is this really bad? Everything seems to work fine but I am concerned that the absolute positioning will turn out to be a bad thing. Thanks for any advice! |

As a rule of thumb, I only tend to use ap when I cannot position the element relatively.

Indeed, I also use absolute positioning since there is less chance of the ccs being missinterpreted in different browsers and such.
So no, it's not a bad thing, it tends to be more work though.

Thanks for all the responses, everyone! Now I don't feel so paranoid!
