I personally have no issues with the man popping up and the design is clean and easy to read. Navigation is clear and precise.
You are the second person I have seen post a screenshot of a design. So, my question is; what are you using as a design tool? If it is a web tool (Dreamweaver, notepad2, etc) then this is coded and surely you have a small webspace area you could post it to for us to check the basic code structure?
If you are using something else for the design that is not web-focused then your design may or may not work effectively the way you hope.
Your site should be very easy to code and still retain your design ideas without sacrificing bandwidth. Simply would be nice to review a website rather than a screenshot.

i do the desing first show it in several forums to hear some opinions and if i need to make some changes i do it on the design and later i code it css/html with (almost all the time) 960px of width so the design will be suitable for visitors monitor
but this is what i have so far
